It's great that you have decided to study at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Nothing stands in the way of your application for a place at RWTH Aachen!

The application for the materials science and materials engineering master's degree courses at RWTH Aachen is made in RWTHonline.

 

1. Registration in RWTH Online

1. Go to the Registrierung link
2. Enter your personal data and send it off
3. Confirm your registration via the incoming email
4. Set your password and complete the registration.

2. Submit application

1. Open the "Applications" application in RWTH Online
2. Go through the application wizard
3. Upload all required documents
4. Check your information carefully
5. Submit your application

Important!: In the course selection area you can select either Bachelor or Master.

 

3. View application status

1. Open the application action "Application in RWTH Online
2. Get an overview of your previous applications and their status.
3. Open the detail view for more information

4. Accept and enroll at the university

1. Open the "Application" application in RWTH Online
2. Navigate to the detail view.
3. Complete missing information
4. Accept the offered study place.
5. Enroll at RWTH.

It is important to know that the Materials Science and Materials Engineering Master's degree is an admission-free Master's course and that you can start the Master's degree in both the winter and summer semesters.
