Internships for different courses of study

 

Internship in Werkstoffingenieurwesen

Werkstoffingenieurwesen B.Sc.
Pre-Study Internship No pre-study internship required.
Required Internship

During your studies your internship in a company needs to take at least 12 weeks.  This 12 weeks don't have to be done contiguously.

To gain credit points from your internship, you have to write a report. (At least half side of text for each week of the internship)
Werkstoffingenieurwesen M.Sc.
Required Internship

During your Master studies your internship has to take 8 weeks.
 

Internship in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen

Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Werkstoff- und Prozesstechnik B.Sc.
Pre-Study Internship

4 weeks of a pre-study internship in a technical/engineering department have to be documented to enroll in this course of study.

6 weeks of a pre-study internship have to be documented to enroll.
Required Internship  No internship required during your studies.
Materialwissenschaften M.Sc.
Required Internship During your Master studies is no internship required.

   

 

Internship in Metallurgical Engineering

Metallurgical Engineering M.Sc.
Required Internship (optional)

The duration of the internship for Metallurgical Engineers is ten weeks.

It is completed with a presentation.
 

Voluntary Internship

Beside required internships you are also allowed to decide for a voluntary internship during your studies. Voluntary internships can't be used to gain credit points for your study process.
